The RICS Level 3 Survey (aka Full Building Survey) is the most detailed inspection offered by any surveying firm and we  consider that our inspections and reports are among the best available.

This replaces what used, often, to be called a Structural Survey, and looks in detail at the whole building (including the services - gas electric etc) as far as this is accessible and draws implications for areas that are not. The report contains not only details of the condition of each element, but also a description of what reasonably might be required to improve its condition and/or repair it. Risks to the property are identified, when present and also evaluated.

This inspection suits older properties (especially those that are Listed), complicated construction types, run down properties or where there is a perceived expectation of significant risk or expenditure.

A standard RICS format report, with "traffic light" ratings indicating the condition of each of the elements. There is little diagnosis of the cause of defects nor description of what may be needed to correct any problems identified. This inspection suits relatively recent properties in generally good order.
